This bed is advertised as helping older dogs with joint issues. I think it does just that.
My dog Mac was not an older dog when I bought the bed, but he had some joint issues that caused him to be stiff and sore especially after a lie down.
It boasts a thick memory foam mattress which is designed to conform to your dogs body shape. The memory foam mattress is said to be beneficial in relieving pressure on the joints and spine. I bought this bed over a year ago, and the mattress is still as firm now as it was when first purchased. My dog Mac loves it.
The bed has a low entrance height, and has an extra high border for your dog to lean on.
The cover is washable, I found it easy to remove, easy to wash and easy to put cover on again. Another bonus is it dries quickly. It also has a cosy top layer cover which stays in place with Velcro.
I tried many beds before buying this one. Mostly the beds would become soft and lumpy in places and would need replaced regularly. This was definitely more expensive than others but in my and Macs opinion it is well worth every penny.
